Retired after 32 years of teaching art in Newburgh, I am fully enjoying this beautiful spot in Gardiner that I feel privileged to call home. My husband and I share a house that is primarily run by our adorable dog Mac. He makes us laugh and has us believing that he is a little clown in disguise!
I was raised the daughter of dairy farmers, so I feel that I have a unique perspective on the bounty and beauty of the Hudson Valley. Respecting the earth and the land that sustains us is built into my way of life and effects many of my lifestyle decisions.
When I have free time I enjoy long peaceful walks beside the Wallkill River or on the rail trail, tending my flower gardens and organic vegetable garden, art, crafts, cooking, baking, and being with our large extended family. Although life has its ups and downs, nothing is impossible with God.
I am looking forward to many more rewarding and happy years in my new career, meeting people and helping to make their dreams come true. Finding a home that fills our emotional and physical needs is a life-changing adventure. Selling a home that has wrapped our family and our treasures for many years can be, at the same time, a daunting and exciting experience. Having personally gone through both ends of the real estate spectrum several times has given me some sensitivity and insight into what facilitates a successful sale, purchase, and move. I have been fortunate to work with wonderful, patient professionals that taught me a lot about the process as I was going through it. I strive to be the kind of real estate agent that not only listens and works hard for my clients, but also gets the job done. To that end, I have recently had the honor and privilege of being selected Ulster County Board of Realtors REALTOR Associate of the year 2016! I hope to continue to provide thorough and professional services while enjoying time with my many wonderful clients.
